YPM VICOBA SUCCESS STORIES

On September 27th YPM Visitor Linda received from Y Global Norway where he had come to inspect projects undertaken by YPM.
Y Global is an institution from Norway which donate fund for YPM, Linda had a chance to visit villages and Shangai Kwedeghe and see VICOBA groups with the progress they've received.
SUCCESS STORIES
Many young people have failed to make business due to the Lack of capital VICOBA but have shown how it facilitates access to capital and the most successful and Established Business through VICOBA.
Many members have started a business from loans that were found in their groups and many of them have invested in agriculture, poultry as well as small businesses.

In villages and Mshaghai Kwedeghe we met with three groups together which is Tumaini, Upendo, with Songa Mbele.

Members of these groups have provided loans and most of them had set up businesses and through those businesses can now run their families, as well as restoring the credit were taken.

 This is a major project of the circuits covered by Isack Baraza who took a loan of six hundred thousand shillings, three hundred thousand and he invested in the construction of his house and invested the remaining fields on this project by success is unprecedented for a week reaps twenty buckets and a bucket of tomatoes sells for ten shillings a week it's sure to get two hundred and metal for a period of one month to month so he sure had undergone eight hundred thousand, and he is able to harvest for a period of four months.
Linda learned a lot and saw how it VICOBA can eliminate poverty, and on 28th this stranger will be in the YPM offices checking financial things going on, and on the 29th will be returning to Norway

On 16th September 2016, Youth Peacemakers contributed two wheel chairs
and two walking support bicycles that were donated to them by the
friends of Sandefjord. The wheel chairs and walking support bicycles
were handled to the District Administrative Secretary of Handeni
representing the Handeni District Commissioner and the Chairperson of
the Board of Handeni District Hospital on behalf of the hospital.

On the same day of 16th Sept the YPM presented four computers to the
Handeni Center. They were presented to the Handeni Parish Pastor, Rev.
Lewis Shemkala on front of the Youth Coordinator Zawadi Sanga. The
Director of YPM insisted that young people should take the chance to
learn, use the opportunity and be encouraged to explore the world
through technology without charges. The center is expected to support
all youths around the area from different religious, ethnic, cultural
backgrounds.



Date 15th Sept 2016 YPM have met with a group of PETS Public (Expenditure Track System) and read out the report of the work they have done since the first day they received the training.
This has borne much fruit because this group has been able Following the various factors favoring development in their communities of these things are

On 14 Sept 2016 YPM has visited Handeni  in favor of the Public Expenditure Track seminar (PETS) and distribute five 5 wheel chairs come in  Handeni district hospital.
Today after arriving YPM VICOBA group visited with Club bike and see groups of children development center along with it is another thing to bring computers that will be used to study the youth to be close to our networks for more information.

Date 09th Sept 2016 YPM has prepared a breakfast meeting to meeting and invite the development partners in Lushoto district and the topic was OWNERSHIP OF LAND  CULTURAL AND LEGAL what can be done.
The aim of this meeting is to have the things that touched the community to discuss and find a solution.
Unfortunately the government side did not gain representative,  the second presenter is from private organizations  MR. Lwalengela Mugiabuso Rular Director of Resource Center (RRC) but The debate continued with stakeholders expressed various things and this was the presenter commented on the ownership of land since colonial times until now.
He also stressed that society should recognize the importance and value of the land.
